I was very pleasantly surprised after using this foundation for the first time. I am constantly on the lookout for lovely new foundations that meet my very fussy requirements {of which there are many}. Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Foundation is an incredibly light, air-whipped mousse foundation.
Squeeze a very small, bubbly dollop onto your skin, quash the bubbles and watch as it spreads over a surprisingly large surface area! Only a teensy amount is needed, and another thing I adored is that for all of you heavy-coverage girls, it is definitely build-able.
What makes this foundation unique you might ask? This gem is the first mousse foundation I have come across with a beautiful, luminous, dewy finish. All other competitors have a mousse-to-powder matte finish, which is utterly useless on my skin as it leaves it dry and flaky. This also applys to all skin with tendencies towards dry areas. As liquid to powder foundations contain evaporative ingredients that will further dry out skin and leave that look reminiscent of a crusted desert earth.
As someone with a very pale and very ‘pink based’ skin tone, I was super impressed with the fact that the lightest shade of PhotoReady Airbrush was yellow based. This came as a shock because most brands that I’ve dealt with manufacture their palest colour in pink tones. Yellow tones are required to diminish pink tones and vice versa. As you can imagine, pink on pink is not the most desirable look; the end result making my face look as if I’d just been for a half hour jog or gym session. Definitely a one of a kind mousse foundation, Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Foundation gives you more than enough reasons to give it a go!
