The Teenage Girl’s Survival Guide has a double pass for April 12th to see “Contact: The Netball Musical” up for grabs as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. It is described as opera meets soap opera on a suburban netball court.
“Formidable coach Bev and the under-21 team from the Hyatt Park Rangers are gearing up for the big game against their long-time rivals. But who is playing for keeps? Bev’s son Bevan is a football star who harbours a secret passion for netball. Bev’s timid daughter, Wendy is happiest on the bench. And newcomer, Daisy is ready to mess up Bev’s tightly ordered game plan. Who will win the day? And who will be left holding the plate of sliced oranges? It’s not over till the goal attack sings.”
